DOOR COUNTY CHARTER FISHING: CANCELLATION POLICY & WEATHER PLANS
Our crew will strive to provide a comfortable and pleasant fishing experience, but there are a few factors that are not within our control.
Sea sickness or motion sickness does not warrant a refund of all or any portion of your charter. Motion sickness medicine is recommended. Check with you doctor for advice on which medication is right for you.
All charters will depart during rainy, windy or wavy conditions and it is the captain’s discretion if a trip should be shortened or refunded. Of course we would wish that every day could be calm seas and sunny skies, but all we may really do is hope for good weather and make the best of it! Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing for all weather conditions.
Everyone knows catching fish is not guaranteed that is why it’s called fishing and not catching, but we do not like coming back to the dock from Lake Michigan without fish and we will work as hard as we can to keep that from happening.
In the event that you are unable to attend your booked Door County fishing charter, you must cancel at least 2 weeks in advance in order to receive a full refund.
Within the 2 weeks before your charter, your deposit will only be refunded if we are able to re-book your scheduled reservation. When you reserve a fishing trip we do not book anyone else for that time slot. Our seasons are very short and there are not large numbers of people to draw on to fill last minute cancellations.
If no notice is received within 2 weeks of your booked excursion and you do not show for the charter, you will be charged the full amount of your reservation.
